When you read the term “Music of the Knights” one may think of madrigals and lutes. Not the case with the Omaha Symphony! Paul McCartney, Elton John and Andrew Lloyd Webber are not only three of the most groundbreaking musical legends alive today, they were also all knighted by Queen Elizabeth. Omaha Symphony Principal Pops Conductor Ernest Richardson and the musicians of the Omaha Symphony present an epic symphonic tribute to some of the most iconic songwriting of our time.
The Maestro, Ernest Richardson, joined Mike Hogan on “Live & Local” to discuss this show and the vast amount of time covered by the massive amount of music these knights have created.
The show is Saturday and Sunday, January 22-23, at 7:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. at the Holland Center. More information can be found at https://www.omahasymphony.org/concerts/music-of-the-knights
