(Omaha, NE) -- The future is uncertain for the collapsed indoor recreation dome at the University of Nebraska Omaha. School officials announced yesterday that they have hired a Minnesota-based company to determine if the Center Dome at 68th and Spring Streets can be repaired. The dome collapsed during Saturday's snow storm, and a university employee discovered a rip in the dome's fabric yesterday. Officials have not determined why the dome collapsed, but they say it could be due to the high winds and heavy snow.
