The best-of-three 2013 Men’s College World Series championship begins this evening.
UCLA and Mississippi State will play for the title. Both teams are playing for their first College World Series championship.
Mississippi State has 51 wins this season. This is the Bulldogs’ first appearance in the College World Series finals and their first trip to the College World Series since 2007.
The UCLA Bruins are making their second College World Series championship appearance in four years. UCLA has 47 wins this season.
College World Series officials say attendance for each game this year has topped 25,000. Tonight and tomorrow’s games, and Wednesday’s game, if needed, will begin at 7pm.
