Omaha fans adopt a team in the College World Series because their regional teams hardly ever get that far.

Only three times in the last 45 years has a team from either Nebraska or Iowa reached the championship field. In Nebraska, three Division I teams aspire to make it.  But in Iowa it’s down to one as Greg Echlin reports for Omaha Public Radio.
