Voters in the Springfield-Platteview School District have rejected a $35.7 million dollar bond measure.
Sarpy County Election Commissioner Wayne Bena says 58 percent of voters in the Springfield-Platteview district voted against the bond measure. It would have funded significant upgrades to the district’s four schools.
42 percent of Springfield-Platteview voters voted in favor of the bond measure. Turnout was 47.2 percent, and the vote was conducted via mail.
