The Chamber's Annual Meeting is set to Deliver Powerful Insights for 2015

Michael Corbat, CEO of Citi, will be the guest speaker at this year’s Greater Omaha Chamber’s Annual Meeting.

David Brown, Chamber president and CEO, says the meeting takes place next Tuesday from 11:30 to 1 at the CenturyLink Center Omaha.

In addition to Corbat’s presentation, Brown says the chamber will hand out three awards including Headliner of the Year, which recognizes an individual or organization that has improved the Omaha area by contributing to its national visibility in a positive way.

He says the board will also review and celebrate last year’s successes.

"We started out the year with a bang by adding Council Bluffs and Pottawattamie County to our Economic Development partnership which was really groundbreaking since it’s our first effort having a two-state Economic Development partnership, six counties.  We also hit all of our Economic Development goals with more than $600 million in capital investment announcements from our projects and more than 3200 jobs created.”

Tickets for Tuesday’s meeting are available at OmahaChamber.org.
