(Altoona, IA) -- Carson King's viral fundraiser is over, but he's using his newfound fame to urge people to continue donating to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. Almost three-million-dollars was raised in the last two weeks and it started when King went to ESPN's College GameDay broadcast in Ames and held up a sign asking for beer money to be sent to his Venmo account. The fundraising effort ended late Monday night, but King tweeted yesterday that people can still donate. They can visit Give To Iowa dot org.
