Omaha-area military veterans will receive a special honor. A group of Purple Heart recipients from the Gulf War as well as Gold Star mothers and children will take part in an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. on Friday. The 181-member group will be welcomed home about 8:30 p.m. Friday with a parade that will run from 15th and Jackson to the Durham Museum.
