Ricketts Confident In Federal Aid Request

(Lincoln, NE)  --  Governor Pete Ricketts is confident Nebraska will receive federal disaster assistance following widespread flooding in the state.  Ricketts announced yesterday that had spoken with President Donald Trump in the aftermath of Vice President Mike Pence's visit to the region on Tuesday.  Ricketts says Trump expressed his support for Nebraska.  As of last night, emergency declarations had been issued for 79 counties, 93 cities, four tribal nations and five other government entities.
