The Nebraska State Fair will happen this year, but the event will take place without a carnival. Organizers say this year's fair will focus on exhibits by Four-H and the FFA, along with livestock competitions. The fair is scheduled for the weekends of August 28th through the 30th and September Fourth through Seventh in Grand Island.
