Omaha's police union is throwing its support behind the mayor. The Omaha Police Officer's Association endorsed Jean Stothert for mayor yesterday. Stothert is seeking her third term as mayor, and union president Sergeant Tony Conner noted that they are rewarding loyalty for a mayor who has stood with the police. Omaha's primary election is next month.
