Flags Lowered In NE To Honor Dole This Week

Bozeman Daily Chronicle

Flags will be flown at half-staff in Nebraska this week to honor Bob Dole. The former Senator from Kansas and 1996 Republican presidential candidate died Sunday at the age of 98. Governor Pete Ricketts announced that flags will be at half-staff until sunset Thursday following a proclamation from President Biden. In a statement, Ricketts said Dole dedicated his life to the nation as a soldier, Senator, and advocate for Americans with disabilities.
