A standoff that started on Tuesday in Gering is over. Thirty-seven-year-old Bradley Garcia was taken into custody last night. The incident started on Tuesday afternoon when a Scotts Bluff County deputy tried to stop Garcia for a traffic violation. Garcia then allegedly fired at a deputy's vehicle during a brief pursuit before crashing his car into a garage and entering a home and taking an adult and two children hostage at gunpoint before releasing them.
