Omaha Public Library (OPL) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will offer a series of free workshops for new small business owners and those who dream of starting their own business. Participants will evaluate their readiness to start a business and learn the basics of running a small business effectively, including budgeting, pricing goods and services, utilizing social media and other marketing techniques to help grow their business, and securing federal contracts.
"Live & Local" sits down with Nick Engert from the Omaha Public Library to discuss the program and the resources the library has for everyone. For more information, visit www.omahalibrary.org.
