(West Des Moines, IA) -- More details are now known about what Hy-Vee previously called a security incident involving payment processing systems. Hy-Vee said yesterday malware was used to steal information from customers. The general dates of the unauthorized activity at fuel pumps go as far back as December 2018 until late July. Restaurants and drive-thru coffee shops were affected starting in mid-January of this year.
