Lincoln Water Restrictions To Continue

(Lincoln, NE)  --  Mandatory water use restrictions are continuing in Lincoln due to flooding.  Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler ordered the restrictions on Sunday, and he says the conservation must continue for several more days as the city deals with flooding at the well fields in Ashland.  Beutler says Lincoln's wells are producing 32-million-gallons of water per day, which is not enough for full operation.  Lincoln residents are required to cut their water usage by 50-percent, while businesses and institutions are ordered to lower their water consumption by 25-percent.
