(Omaha, NE) -- The Omaha City Council is rejecting a proposed garbage contract. Council members voted yesterday to turn down Mayor Jean Stothert's proposal to hire international company FCC as the city's trash contractor for the next decade. Omaha's current trash contract runs through the end of July, but it can be extended.
