Council Approves Trash Contract

(Omaha, NE)  --  The Omaha City Council is giving the city's trash hauling contract to FCC Environmental.  Council members approved the contract yesterday.  Starting in 2021, every residence in Omaha will receive two 96-gallon trash carts, one for trash and yard waste and one for recycling. The contract with FCC Environmental will cost 24-million-dollars per year.
