Where is Michael Lyon?
He is still working for KIOS, behind the scenes. Instead of hosting our Morning Edition program, he is our new Development Director. In his new role, Michael is responsible for the underwriting sponsorships that play an important part in bringing you the programs you enjoy on KIOS.
Michael feels deeply grateful for the connections he has made with each listener over the past 12 years as well as the organizations that make our city such a great place to live and work.
While his focus will be? on helping keep KIOS financially strong, he will primarily be motivated by his deep sense of connection to the community and the relationships he values so highly.
Your new Morning Edition host is Mike Hogan
Mike started his radio career with St. Louis, Missouri NPR affiliate 88.1 FM KDHX. Following that, he spent many years in commercial radio, most recently in Fremont.
Mike is thrilled to be a part of KIOS’s morning line up.
