(Des Moines, IA) -- A Democratic state Senator is being sued for blocking people on Twitter. The Libertarian Party of Iowa and Thomas Halterman say Senator Claire Celsi [[ sell-SEE ]] is violating Iowans' First Amendment rights by blocking them. The party says Celsi began blocking people after a Twitter conversation about the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The party also says what Celsi's doing is unconstitutional because a recent court ruling went against President Trump after he blocked people on Twitter.
