Visiting Angels Living Assistance Service is Hosting the first annual “Skate to End Alzheimer’s” on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Grover Ice Arena, 6171 Grover Street, Omaha, NE 68106.
There will be two Drop–In Hockey Skates at 10:15am to 11:15am and 11:30am to 12:30pm followed by a Public Skate from 4:15pm to 6:15pm. All Skates are a "Free–Will" Donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visiting Angel owner and recreational hockey player, Phil Labadie, chats with Mike Hogan "Live & Local" about the event, the very generous hockey community, and the hope to turn this event into an annual tradition that raises funds for the Nebraska Alzheimer’s Association.
