Opera Omaha kicks off 2019-2020 season with Opera Outdoors, Sean Kelly and Hidenori Inoue Discuss

Opera Omaha kicks off its 2019-2020 season with the seventh annual Opera Outdoors, a fun, family-friendly and FREE opera concert in Midtown Crossing’s Turner Park.  Featuring a sampling opera’s greatest hits and previews of Opera Omaha’s upcoming season.  The concert is open to the public; no tickets are necessary, and this year’s event will be hosted in English and Spanish for the second year.

Head of Music and Conductor Sean Kelly along with Bass Soloist Hidenori Inoue sit down with Mike Hogan "Live & Local" to discuss the show, the season, and opera in general.

Opera Outdoors is Friday, August 23rd, with the park opening at 5:30, free pre-show activities starting at 6:00 (including Costume Station, Face Painting, Balloon Animals, Arts & Crafts, and more), and the show beginning at 7:00.
