The 8th annual Mighty Mavericks event will take place Saturday, Sept. 7 at the UNO Sapp Field House. It is an opportunity for families in the community of individuals with special needs to enjoy a variety of interactive activities. Plus the Flapjack Guys will be there!
Children's Respite Care Center CEO, Anne Constantino, joins Mike Hogan "Live & Local" to discuss the mission of CRCC, the Mighty Mavericks event (which is free and open to anyone in the community with special needs and their family members), and she shares a wonderful story about the integrated classes and the impact that has on the kids.
