Station Manager Ken Dudzik Kicks off KIOS-FM Birthday Celebration "Live & Local" (Part 2)

KIOS is Omaha Public Radio.  Started at Omaha Central High School in September 1969, KIOS was the educational extension of the Omaha Public Schools and became a charter member of NPR, National Public Radio, in 1971.  KIOS continues to provide the best in news, information, jazz and entertainment programming to an audience of around 60,000 listeners each week.  KIOS broadcasts programs from National Public Radio, American Public Media and Public Radio International along with locally produced shows.

This year, KIOS celebrates its 50th anniversary.  General Manager Ken Dudzik joins Mike Hogan in this second of a two part interview discussing the station, the celebratory events, and the panel discussion at the Omaha Press Club this week.  The forum will begin at 12 p.m. with lunch served beginning at 11:30 a.m.
