Wings of Hope Cancer Support Center in Council Bluffs was established in 1994. This nonprofit provides free programs and services for people with cancer and their families in the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro and throughout southwest Iowa. This includes support groups, private counseling, survivorship services, a resource library, an image renewal room, financial assistance and community educational opportunities.
Carolyn Ettinger is the Executive Director of Wings of Hope Cancer Support Center. She joined Mike Hogan on “Live & Local” to discuss the programs and the upcoming fundraiser which will help provide the resources needed to continue the mission of healing.
