(Omaha, NE) -- A major Omaha thoroughfare will be expanded. Plans call for widening 180th Street from two lanes to four, and a bridge will be built to allow drivers to take 180th from Dodge to Blondo. Officials say a contract will be awarded in the fall and construction on the project will start in 2020. Construction is expected to wrap up in 2023.
