(Plattsmouth, NE) -- The city of Plattsmouth is asking residents and businesses to reduce water usage due to ongoing flooding. City officials announced yesterday that it is seeking a voluntary reduction of 30-percent in water consumption. Plattsmouth is prohibiting water use for lawn irrigation, the filling of swimming pools and washing vehicles. Restaurants in Plattsmouth are being asked to serve water only on request.
