In a news release, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts announced the state made the decision to ban the popular video app on state devices to safeguard against intrusive cyber activities from China. Last week, President Donald Trump ordered a ban on Chinese owned apps like WeChat and TikTok saying they're a threat to U.S. national security.
