Five NE Schools Receive Blue Ribbon Designation

Five Nebraska schools are named National Blue Ribbon Schools.  The five schools being recognized by the U.S. Department of Education are Carl Swanson Elementary and St. Robert Bellarmine School in Omaha, Sagewood Elementary in Elkhorn, Lux Middle School in Lincoln, and Fort Calhoun Junior Senior High.  Blue Ribbon Schools have exemplary test scores or exemplary progress closing the achievement gap.
