A Fremont man is proving he might truly be lucky for life. Buster Shafer of Fremont won 25-thousand-dollars a year for life after purchasing a winning Lucky For Life Nebraska Lottery ticket. Shafer purchased the winning ticket at the Hy-Vee Food Store in Fremont, matching all five winning white ball numbers from the October 2nd drawing. Shafer chose the 25-thousand-dollars a year annuity when he claimed his prize at Nebraska Lottery headquarters in Lincoln. This is the second Lucky For Life winning ticket sold since the Nebraska Lottery started offering the game in 2017. A minimum of 20 years' worth of payments are guaranteed when the annuity option is chosen.
