Nebraska state troopers are cracking down on distracted driving. April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, and troopers will join law enforcement agencies around the state to work overtime to educate motorists about the dangers of driving while distracted. The overtime is being paid in part by a 14-thousand-dollar grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation's Highway Safety Office. The enforcement effort will run through April 10th.
