Nebraska's plan to connect thousands of people to affordable, high-speed internet is approved by the federal government. WOWT reports that the state has been approved for nearly 90-million-dollars. Officials say that the funding will provide 21-thousand homes and businesses in rural areas with high-speed internet through the Broadband Bridge Program.
