The State of Nebraska is getting millions of dollars to expand broadband internet access. Governor Pete Ricketts says the state recently got two grants from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration worth a total of five-point-six-million dollars. Ricketts says the money will be used to create a broadband internet map, make more internet connections, and hire more Nebraska Public Service Commission workers.
