Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds signs the bill -- increasing public school funds by three-percent -- into law. Reynolds proposed two-point-five percent growth earlier in the session, but GOP leaders agreed on the slightly higher number. Democratic lawmakers called for a six-percent increase to keep up with inflation. The 107-million dollar increase is the largest annual growth since 2015.
