A Nebraska lawmaker is filing a defamation lawsuit against the Nebraska Freedom Coalition. The Nebraska Legal Action Fund filed a lawsuit on behalf of State Senator Megan Hunt this week accusing the Nebraska Freedom Coalition of defaming her. According to court documents, the freedom coalition accused Hunt of grooming and abusing her 13-year-old child, who is transgender. Hunt is seeking damages for defamation as well as prejudgment interest.
