The Omaha Public Schools Board of Education is approving a contract for its new superintendent. The contract for Matthew Ray, which was approved yesterday, calls for his base salary to be 336-thousand-dollars. The new contract will take effect July 1st, and it will run through the 2026-2027 school year. Ray has served as Omaha Public Schools' interim superintendent since last spring.
