Democrat Christina Bohannon's campaign is requesting a recount in Iowa's 1st congressional district race. Republican incumbent Mariannette Miller-Meeks leads the race by about 800 votes, according to the Iowa Secretary of State's website. She's declared victory in the race. Bohannon made the request for a recount yesterday evening, and the results of the race must be certified by Secretary of State Paul Pate by December 2nd.
