Nebraska is getting more than three-million-dollars for projects in two Tribal Nations. The US Department of Housing and Urban Development says the money can be used for community building initiatives including new community buildings, infrastructural improvements, and land acquisition. Nebraska's Northern Ponca and Winnebago Tribes will benefit from the funding. Almost 73-million was given out nationally.
