President Donald Trump's decision to freeze funding for USAID is impacting the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The university's Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute received a stop-work order for a five-year, 19-million-dollar grant. The university received the grant last year to coordinate a global network to achieve sustainable irrigation and agricultural mechanization by farmers in Africa and Central America.
