A new record year for organ transplants at Nebraska Medical Center. The hospital system reports 390 people got kidney, lung, or liver transplants in 2024 -- more than any other year. It was the hospital's fourth busiest year on record for heart transplants. Nebraska Medical says it performs more kidney transplants between strangers than almost any other hospital in the US.
