A city street is closed this month for repairs and upgrades in Orlando, Fla. As part of an infrastructure proposal by the Biden administration, $115 billion is earmarked to modernize bridges, highways and roads.

More than 150 miles of Omaha streets will be resurfaced or replaced this year. Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert's office announced 41 projects costing 28-point-six million dollars. It is part of the Street Preservation fund voters approved in 2020 and continued last November. The projects are in addition to traditional road capital improvements for capacity, safety, and bridge improvements.
