Former Nebraska State Senator Brett Lindstrom is running for Congress. The 44-year-old Republican announced his candidacy Monday for the Second Congressional District. It follows the decision by incumbent Representative Don Bacon not to seek re-election. Lindstrom says he's running on his record in the Unicameral, where he voted for tax relief, took action against pill mills, and helped eliminate the state tax on Social Security.
