The Omaha City Council is moving forward with plans for a new casino in the city. On Tuesday, Council members agreed to provide nearly 18-million-dollars in tax incentives for the casino at the intersection of 62nd and Q Streets. According to reports, the new complex will feature live and simulcast horse racing, along with 12-hundred gaming machines, live entertainment and a sports bar. The casino, which will be among the first in the state, is expected to be completed by the fall of 2022.
