Community grieves for 2 Nebraska men slain helping sister

PAPILLION, Neb. (AP) — A funeral Mass is scheduled Wednesday for two men who were slain helping their sister move from the Omaha home she was sharing with a man who police say killed the brothers.

The service is set to begin at 10 a.m. at St. Columbille Catholic Church in the Omaha suburb of Papillion. Thirty-five-year-old John Edwards and his brother, 41-year-old Jason Edwards, died Friday. Police say they were shot by their sister's ex-boyfriend, Kenneth Clark, who later committed suicide to end his standoff with officers.

The Omaha World-Herald says (http://bit.ly/20Z6a5w ) mourners crowded into the church Tuesday evening to pay their respects during a rosary service. A deacon who spoke, David Krueger, talked about the outpouring of support for the family and said, "It is the whole community grieving as well."
