(Des Moines, IA) -- Growing industrial hemp will be allowed in Iowa once the federal government approves the state's plan. Governor Kim Reynolds has started the process by signing a bill legalizing industrial hemp production, but she issued a lengthy statement reminding Iowans what they can't do. Those restrictions include not selling or manufacturing CBD. Reynolds did say she signed the bill to open up a new market for Iowans.
