If you love history, and Omaha's history in particular, then a book titled Secret Omaha: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure can't help but grab your attention. Fortunately for all of us, historian and author Ryan Roenfeld has written that very book.
Roenfeld's body of work focuses on local history on either side of the Missouri River. He's explored Omaha's colorful past with Wicked Omaha, and commemorated Council Bluffs: Broadway with Dr. Richard Warner. Roenfeld sits down with KIOS Program Director, and history buff, Todd Hatton to talk about some of the more interesting stories his new work contains...and why Omaha is fertile ground for fascinating history.
