Omaha Public Library Kicks off Summer Reading Program for All Ages, Emily Getzschman Discusses Live

Everyone is invited to participate in the annual Summer Reading Program (SRP) at Omaha  Public Library (OPL)!  With great reads and free activities for all ages, OPL can help keep the entire family engaged throughout the summer, and help to keep kids’ minds sharp while they are out of school.

Join OPL for kickoff celebrations at OPL locations on May 31 and June 1. The fun begins at W. Dale Clark Main Library (215 S. 15th St.) and Bess Johnson Elkhorn Branch (2100 Reading Plz.) on Friday and continues on Saturday, June 1, 1-3 p.m., at all other OPL branch locations.  Enjoy activities inside and outside the library at these fabulous kick-off parties – games, crafts, food and more!

Emily Getzschman, Marketing Manager for Omaha Public Library, joins Mike Hogan "Live & Local" to chat about the program, the many goods and services available at the library for FREE!
