Omaha, NE – With the Iowa caucuses now just five weeks away, Presidential candidates are spending a considerable amount of time in Iowa talking to voters. Recent polls show Senator Barack Obama moving ahead of Senator Hillary Clinton in Iowa. On December 4, Obama, Clinton and the other Democrat Presidential candidates will take part in a radio-only debate sponsored by NPR and Iowa Public Radio. Omaha Public Radio's Katie Knapp recently talked with Steve Innskeep, co-host of Morning Edition on NPR and one of three moderators for the debate. Innskeep talked about the importance of this election to the balance of power in Washington, and what listeners can expect.
