(Wahoo, NE) -- A Wahoo man is the new state record holder for the largest pumpkin. The "Omaha World-Herald" reports that 33-year-old Brent Cernik displayed a nearly 15-hundred pound pumpkin at the Ryan Norlin Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Anamosa, Iowa, on Saturday. Cernik's pumpkin weighed in at one-thousand-492-point-five-pounds, which bested the previous state record holder by nearly 100 pounds.
