(Douglas County, NE) -- A salmonella outbreak at a Douglas County daycare is under investigation. Elite Childcare Academy on John Galt Boulevard has voluntarily closed due to the outbreak. The Douglas County Health Department says the exact number of affected children isn't known because of the 60-to-72-hour incubation period for Salmonella. The daycare is planning to reopen on Monday.
